The city of Gronau (Westphalia) intends to award planning services for buildings and interiors for the new construction of the Buterland School.

The Buterlandschule is one of eight primary schools in Gronau and is to become permanently three-stream due to the current and forecast developments in the number of pupils. The new pedagogical orientation makes it necessary to create previously non-existent areas for differentiation, inclusion and integration at this primary school location. The existing old building is massively contaminated with pollutants and is to be dismantled to make room for a corresponding new building.

Completion is currently scheduled for the start of the 2026 / 2027 school year.

The costs (KG 200 - 500 and 700) of the measure are estimated at around 11.85 million euros / gross (as of 2023; this does not include: pollutant remediation, demolition, furniture, equipment).

The order includes freelance planning services.

The following services are to be awarded:

- Buildings and interiors (service phases 1 - 9 according to HOAI § 34 in conjunction with Appendix 10).

The required services are based on the service profiles of the HOAI. The client reserves the right to place orders in stages.
