The present tender is carried out jointly by a number of municipalities that are members of KomTender. KomTender is a municipal procurement community consisting of municipalities in Funen and Jutland. If necessary, see more about www.komudbud.dk.De municipalities participating in the tender are listed in the tender notice. I.1 and point 2.1 of the specifications. They are all to be regarded as contracting entities and they will each enter into an independent framework agreement with the winning bidder on the basis of the call for tenders. Other municipalities that are members of KomTender, but which do not participate in this tender, will not be able to use the framework agreement offered. The same applies to companies owned by municipalities that are members of KomTender but do not participate in this tender. The entities, departments and self-governing institutions of the individual contracting entities that will be covered by the framework agreement, as well as the number of possible delivery addresses, of the contracting entity are currently shown in Appendix 1 – Signature annex.

The framework agreement concerns the supply of nutritional preparations and remedies only in cases where the contracting entity has a financial cost. This applies, for example, to the delivery of nutritional preparations covered by section 122 of the Danish Service Act to terminal citizens living at home. Likewise, it may apply in cases where the ordering entity offers citizens in nursing homes or similar a diet package/tube package containing nutritional preparations. The framework agreement cannot be used for purchases to citizens where the contracting entity does not have a financial cost. Nutritional preparations are those which, under medical or dietetic guidance, are used to replace or supplement a citizen's normal diet.

Aarhus Municipality, acts as coordinator, and is thus responsible for the process in connection with the implementation of the tender. Until the signing of the framework agreement, all communication relating to the tender will thus be handled by this municipality.
