English Heritage are re-visiting the operation and maintenance contracts that manage the potable water, ground source heating/cooling, vacuum drainage and the wastewater treatment plant. Given the critical importance of delivering safe drinking water, protection of the environment and the challenges of compliance with Environment Agency permits, the close relationship between these systems lends itself well to being managed by a single responsible party. Complete all tasks associated with the day to day operation of the PWS, GSHCS, VDS and MBR systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements in order to provide safe drinking water, protect environmental resources, maintain compliance with existing permits and reduce operational costs.
