The subject of the acquisition is the automatic dispensing service of machine-allocated medicines to customers of social and health services in accordance with the tender documentation.

The participating municipalities are in the process of acquiring a machine-automated drug delivery service for pharmaceuticals packaged in accordance with mechanized drug distribution to eliminate errors in the patient-specific provision of sachets and thus improve patient safety.

In addition, the service is intended to reduce the working time spent by medical staff to handle medicines and thus achieve cost savings compared to traditional doses of docks or manually handling of machine-distributed doses.

The acquisition also includes service maintenance, remote monitoring, support service and service use training for staff.

The future objective is to expand the pharmaceutical automatic service and connect it to the Kotidigi API integration platform owned by the City of Tampere, which would enable the system to be utilized in other services for the end customer.

The requirements relating to the object of the acquisition are described in more detail in Annex 1 The List of Requirements.

The acquisition will be made for the indefinite contractual period. The contract termination period is 6 months when the subscriber terminates the contract and 9 months when the supplier terminates the contract. The contract in force for the time being competitive in accordance with the Procurement Act at certain intervals.

The acquisition shall be made as a procurement ring with each member of the procurement ring making their own contract decision and the acquisition of the contract. The contract period is planned to begin as soon as possible after the acquisition decision obtained the force of law.
