The object of the order is the collection and development of municipal waste from the property in which the residents reside and from properties where the cottages are located or from other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes located in the territory of the municipality of Zgierz in a way that ensures adequate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods and limiting the mass of biodegradable municipal waste transferred to storage.
1. The subject of the contract is the collection and management of municipal waste from real estate where residents live and from real estate on which there are cottages or from other properties used for recreation and leisure, located in the municipality of Zgierz in a way that ensures achieving appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for re-use and recovery by other methods and reducing the weight of waste municipal biodegradable transferred to storage.
2. As part of the provision of the service, the Contractor is obliged to operate from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point (hereinafter referred to as PSZOK), to which waste from real estate where residents live and from real estate where summer cottages are located or from other properties used for recreation and leisure purposes will be transferred, located in the municipality of Zgierz. PSZOK will accept the following fractions of municipal waste free of charge: paper, metals, plastics, glass, multi-material packaging waste and bio-waste, hazardous waste, expired medicines and chemicals, waste not eligible for medical waste generated in the household as a result of taking medicinal products in the form of injections and monitoring the level of substances in the blood, in particular needles and syringes, used batteries and accumulators, waste electrical and electronic equipment, furniture and other bulky waste, used tyres, construction and demolition waste from households and textile and clothing waste. The collection should take place in the PSZOK conducted by the contractor in a way that ensures easy access. PSZOK is to function, throughout the contract period, except for holidays and non-working days, from Monday to Friday in the following hours:
a) from April to October: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 to 15:00, Tuesdays from 10:00 to 18:00, Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00.
b) in the period from November to March: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00 to 15:00, on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00.
3. The subject of the contract includes the collection and management of municipal waste and the provision of bags for selectively collected waste and bio-waste to property owners. It is understood as collecting in any amount of available waste from containers or bags displayed in front of the property, by the road or from recesses in the fence – pergolas; collection in any quantity, taking into account the limits contained in the resolution of the Zgierz Commune Council No. LV/600/22 of 30 August 2022, on the detailed method and scope of providing services in the field of municipal waste collection from property owners and management of this waste, in exchange for a fee paid by the property owner for municipal waste management, in particular the frequency of municipal waste collection from the property owner and the method provision of services by points of selective collection of municipal waste, delivered to PSZOK waste from residential real estate, from real estate on which there are summer cottages or other real estate used for recreation and leisure, located within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Zgierz. The provision of bags for segregated fractions will be carried out on a "bag for bag" basis, unless the property owner reports the need to receive additional bags for individual fractions of selective waste. The Contractor undertakes to manage the collected municipal waste in accordance with applicable regulations.
