Description:
Nitrogen tank and nitrogen supply

For the production of semiconductors, the semiconductor laboratory requires a supply of gaseous nitrogen (GN2) and liquid nitrogen (LN2) with a tank system (for rent).

Framework agreement

Start: 02.01.2024 (no later than 31.01.2024)

Overall term until 30.09.2028

Consumption quantities of liquid and gaseous nitrogen

The annual consumption GN2 is approx. 420,000 m³ (N2 / 1 bar) ( ~ 610 m³ LN2).

The annual consumption LN2 is approx. 1 m³.

The gas pressure of the evaporator should be 10 bar.

The permanently possible gas flow must be at least 60 m³ per hour.

The size of the tank is said to be 50,000 liters.

It must be possible to cover peaks of up to 100%.

It must be possible to take off liquid nitrogen at a pressure lower than the 10 bar of the evaporator.

For this purpose, an LN2 tank must be planned in such a way that the tank must be refilled approx. every 2 weeks with the above consumption.

When filled, the total weight must not exceed 60 tons.

An evaporator adapted to the required gas flow must also be planned.

LN2 Delivery:

The tank is to be filled with LN2 quality 5.0.

The contractor is to monitor the fill level through the use of telemetry.

The delivery should be carried out automatically in such a way that there are no supply gaps.

An unscheduled order on the part of the HLL must be possible at any time.

The Contractor shall also be deemed to be the consignee in accordance with ADR (European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) 1.2.1 and shall fulfil the obligations described in ADR 1.4.2.3 (Obligations of the main participants: consignee) and in the GGVSEB (Dangerous Goods Ordinance for Road, Railway and Inland Waterways) § 20 (Obligations of the Consignee).

The Contractor shall bear the filling obligations described in the GGVSEB § 23 (Duties of the Filler).

The Contractor confirms that the driver has received instruction on how to handle the filling device. Upon request, a copy of the instruction must be provided.

LN2 tank structure:

The responsibility for the construction or replacement of the tank system and the evaporator lies with the contractor. The system remains the property of the contractor. The contractor should coordinate work on the plant with the HLL beforehand in order to avoid conflicts with other trades or HLL activities

Safety and Maintenance

The tests prescribed by the Industrial Safety Ordinance, as well as

regular maintenance on the LN2 tank and evaporator must be carried out by the contractor. The proper functioning and operational safety is to be guaranteed by the contractor.
