The construction work includes the completion of the Lauttasaari bridge renovation contract in accordance with the tender specifications, with all work and procurement completed.

The contract includes one (1) milestone:

Interim Objective 1: All lanes, pedestrian and cycle lanes are fully completed and traffic is not restricted to any lane or fairway in any way.

All works must be completed and received, and the inspections required by the authorities and inspection bodies must be accepted by 30.11.2020. If the work is completed before the contract deadline, the developer may accept the work, but no compensation will be paid.

The form of a contract is a general contract where the contractor selected for the job acts as the main contractor in the role of general contractor within the meaning of YSE and legislation. The contractor is responsible for site management and site services. The contract documents list the contractor's purchases and individual contracts.

The project will be implemented as a joint municipal engineering site. The tenderer offering the most economically advantageous tender shall be selected as the contractor. The most economically advantageous tender is the tender which is the cheapest of the tenders which meet the eligibility criteria set by the developer.
