The Central Finland Medical District and its procurement ring will compete for a three-year contract period of home unicpap supplies (masks and spare parts) used with double pressure generators and home delivery services. The estimated start date of the contract period is 1.2.2022
The acquisition includes nose, nostril and full-face masks as well as their home delivery services. All products and home delivery service requested in the tender must be provided by the tenderer. If the tenderer wishes to offer more masks to be taken into account for comparison, the bidder should submit a parallel offer.
Item consumption amounts are annual consumption estimates based on historical data. Consumption may vary from year to year and we do not commit to order any specific amount. Each accompanying organisation/health center should order the products independently. In the spring of 2021, there have been 7500pc of patients wearing masks.
The benchmark price is calculated by multiplying the price of the mask à by the estimated consumption amount of the mask in question and aggregate the prices. The cheapest total price offered wins the bidding process.
Selection of offers:
To secure an adequate range of products, the procurement unit chooses four of the most favorable offers. If fewer than four bids are received, all accepted offers will be selected. However, for a legitimate reason, the contracting entity may choose more than four offers (if, for example, several suppliers have offered the same products).
Product selection during the contract period:
The contracting unit buys the mask best suited for the patient's use, taking into account the specific needs of the patient. In a situation where the most suitable masks are more than one, the most affordable mask is chosen. The buyer also reserves the right to purchase products in this product area to a small extent from other suppliers in the event of a specific patient's need for treatment.
We also ask the bidder to include a price list of spare parts for the products offered and any other unicpap masks in the provider's range.
