The tender concerns the export of special services for Hedensted Municipality's transport office by providing 28 minibuses incl. drivers.
The service will take place between private addresses and the covered institutions, schools, centres, etc. in Hedensted Municipality and surrounding municipalities. The driving tasks relate to driving searched citizens. This includes, for example, driving for special kindergartens, schools and special institutions, day care centers, medical driving, driving to rehabilitation, etc. These are citizens/children who need to drive, as they are unable to transport themselves to the services due to a physical and/or mental disability.
The contracting entity has its own Transport Office, which coordinates and plans the driving tasks that the supplier must perform for the contracting entity.
The driving is partly done by a number of warranty cars and partly by a number of variable cars. Some of the warranty cars will run a single route and some of the warranty cars will run a shared route.
The driving of the warranty cars is mainly between 6:00 and 17:00 on weekdays (Monday to Friday). There are a very small number of runs that either start a little before (05:30) or end later (until 19:00).
It can be expected that the vast majority of the expected daily driving time in the variable cars will generally be between 6 am and 10 am in the morning and in the afternoon, between 2 pm and 6 pm. The aim is to ensure consistent driving during the two periods.
For warranty cars (combined), the aim is to have a continuous shift of approx. 7.5 hours per day (excluding meal breaks), so that the shift can be performed by the same driver during the week. For warranty cars (shared), a total shift of approx. 7.5 hours per day (excluding meal break) is also sought, but this shift will be divided into a morning shift before 10 am and an afternoon shift after 1 pm. The time between the two share shifts can be arranged by the supplier. Meal breaks must be taken outside the two share shifts. For the variable cars, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., it will generally be possible for the supplier to use the capacity of the vehicles for another side. However, there may also be a need for the ordering party to want to book the vehicles during this period. In this case, however, it will be possible for the supplier to refuse to operate, in which case the contracting entity will find another solution.
