The aim of the procurement is to implement MARLIN equipment in accordance with NATO C4IS concepts in order to establish an autonomous, redundant, and robust tactical network.
The contract is for the procurement of up to 53 units of STANAG 4691/AComP-4691-compatible MARLIN-systems that will be implemented in the military network in Norway. The units will be used at sea on various vessel classes in the Norwegian navy.
The procurement period is expected to be Q3 2021 to Q4 2022, of 10-20 units at a time. The first part of the planned procurement will be by Q4 2021.
The estimate and schedule are not binding for the contracting authority.
The procurement also includes a maintenance agreement (Follow-On Technical Support agreement (FOTS-agreement)) for the technical life time of the entire system. The FOTS-agreement will cover service replacement purchases within the scope of the procurement.
