The target of the procurement is consulting on the innovation funding applied for and implemented by the Traffic Control Company Fintraffic Oy and its subsidiaries Fintraffic Raide Oy, Fintraffic Tie Oy, Fintraffic Maritime Traffic Control Ltd and Fintraffic Lennonvarmistus Oy to support various different development projects as described below.
Through this acquisition, the aim is to acquire a professionally top-notch and appropriate expert service to support the Group's financial and financial services for monitoring international and Finnish financial assistance programmes, consulting on grant funding applications, preparing and processing funding applications, and managing and reporting support funding projects received by completed development projects to grant funding providers. These may be, for example, assignments related to development funding, aid funding or innovation funding.
The target of the procurement is consulting on the innovation funding applied for and implemented to support the various development projects of the Traffic Management Company Fintraffic Oy and its subsidiaries Fintraffic Raide Oy, Fintraffic Tie Oy, Fintraffic Maritime Traffic Control Ltd and Fintraffic Lennonvarmistus Oy.
Fintraffic plays a key role as a transport operator and aims to further strengthen and develop this position both nationally and internationally. Fintraffic's key role is also to enable the service development and new business of the parties operating in the transport ecosystem both in Finland and internationally. To support the operations, funding is needed, which is either funding from Finland (eg. Business Finland) or funding from international sources, such as EU-level support funding.

In this context, funding refers to a wide range of forms of financing for development projects (development, support and innovation funding). This explicitly refers to financing development projects such as service development, ecosystem building or investment financing for a specific limited project. The main forms of financing are support funding and the sources of funding are, for example, the EU (and other international financial institutions) and Business Finland (and other domestic financial institutions). However, this does not refer to group financing, such as debt financing from banks or investors or equity financing.

The procurement will take the form of a framework agreement for which a maximum of 10 suppliers will be selected. The contract period is 15.2.2023-31.12.2024, after which the client has the opportunity to extend the contract with the selected suppliers with two one-year option periods.
