Restricted procedure for the assignment of extraordinary maintenance works aimed at the energy efficiency of the existing air conditioning systems at the Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa airports. The Contract, including the procurement of the components covered by the project, consists mainly of the following activities: replacement of the electric motors and inverters of the main pumps of the exchange substation and refrigeration plants with IE5 high-efficiency magnetic reluctance synchronous motors, as well as adaptation of the existing Air Handling Units (AHUs), including interventions on: a) heat recovery units and replacement of heat recovery units. existing two-phase or enthalpy wheel heat and installation of coupled battery recuperators, b) filtration systems, with replacement of the mechanical filters present on the AHUs with electrostatic filters, c) fan motors, with replacement of the electric motors and inverters of the AHUs with IE5 high-efficiency magnetic reluctance synchronous motors, d) efficiency improvement of the existing air-cooled refrigeration units, with the installation of adiabatic panels for the pre-cooling of the air entering the condensers (C.I.G. nr.
