Main elements of the scope of service include:
Annual inspection, servicing and certification of landlord owned gas, LPG and oil heating equipment and appliances;
Repair to landlord owned gas, LPG and oil heating equipment and appliances;
Annual inspection, service and certification of landlord owned solid fuel heating equipment including chimneys;
Repair to landlord owned solid fuel heating equipment;
Test of carbon monoxide and smoke alarms in properties visited for the above;
Administer appointments;
Attend out-of-hours to repair when required;
Provision of statutory certification;
Supply of parts and consumables;
Other activities necessary for the delivery of the service;

Scope as detailed above. For approximately 5 000 properties in West Dorset and the surrounding areas. The framework is placed for 4 years, but the contract placed by Magna Housing Association will be for a period of up to 7 years (4 year period plus up to 3 year extensions). The estimated value of this element is 400 GBP-500 000 p.a. Please note that contracts might be placed by Magna Housing Group, the parent company of both Magna Housing Association and Magna West Somerset Housing Association.

The framework is placed for 4 years, but the contract placed by Magna West Somerset Housing Association will be for a period of up to 7 years (4 year period plus up to 3 year extensions). The estimated value of this element is 150 GBP-200 000 p.a. Please note that contracts might be placed by Magna Housing Group, the parent company of both Magna Housing Association and Magna West Somerset Housing Association.

Advantage SW members who wish to access the framework will run mini-competitions to the companies on the framework. Advantage SW will be actively recruiting other Members (either via other consortia or directly) during the duration of the framework. The framework is placed for 4 years, but the contracts placed by members will be for longer periods. To ensure we have sufficient financial headroom in the procurement we are detailing spend up to 29 000 000 GBP for this Lot.
