Extent

The procurement relates to framework agreements for the collection, transport and delivery of packaging from recycling stations ("ÅVS") within the geographical area of Norrköping Municipality (the "Area"). The assignment also includes cleaning in the ÅVS area as well as handling and disposal of waste and hazardous waste at ÅVS. The framework agreement covers all ÅVS in the Area. The number of ÅVS may change during the term of the agreement to otherwise unchanged terms. The client estimates that the number of active ÅVS at the start of the contract will be 16-20.

Packaging is delivered to a transshipment station procured by the customer.

The client estimates the annual total volume to approximately SEK 2,500,000 per year. The volume varies from year to year and the Client does not commit to estimated volumes. After 2027, volumes will probably decrease as the requirement for curbside collection of packaging comes into force, which means that the need to dispose of packaging at ÅVS stations decreases.

Background

As of 2024-01-01, Nodra will take over responsibility for the collection of packaging close to the property and is already responsible for the collection of waste paper. Due to this, a framework agreement is procured for the collection of packaging and waste paper from recycling stations (ÅVS) in Norrköping municipality, including maintenance.

The client estimates its total need for services covered by the framework agreement at SEK 15,000,000. This is the ceiling volume of the framework agreement. If the turnover of the framework agreement is equal to the maximum volume, the client has the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Such termination shall not affect the validity of the contract concluded prior to that date.

During the period of contract, changes may occur based on group decisions, changes in activity and more that may affect the need and volume. The supplier is required to deliver the real need.
