The purpose of this contract is to determine the conditions of the integral management and operation service of the Ginesta Municipal Nursery, Jacint Rius Street, 1-3 of Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
It consists of the management service of the nursery that will have to offer, in addition to the schooling service, the kitchen / dining service, the reception in the morning and the stay in the afternoon, the summer house and the maintenance and cleaning services as main services and those others that are complementary and / or supplementary.

The need that this contracting proposal will satisfy is to guarantee the continuity of the Ginesta municipal nursery service. Given that the contract for the management of the Ginesta municipal nursery service of the current contractor of the nursery will end on August 31, 2023, the need to comply with the commitments and agreement between the Generalitat and the City Council (agreement with the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia, of assumption of the delegated powers in matters of pre-registration and enrollment of students to nurseries financed with public funds and taking into consideration that the new tender for the service was foreseen in the Annual Contracting Plan of the City Council, consequently once the technical specifications and the report of needs relating to this contract had been established, given that the City Council does not have sufficient staff (own resources) to be able to assume the tasks described in the aforementioned documents, and given that there is sufficient budgetary appropriation to carry out the object of the contract that is projected, reasons why it is necessary to proceed to the assistance through contracting with third parties, as has been done so far, in accordance with the objective of budgetary stability and control of expenditure, and with total respect for the principles of efficiency, efficiency, publicity, transparency, non-discrimination and equal treatment.
