Südwestrundfunk (SWR) operates its own transmitter network at 314 transmitter locations in Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate. These transmitters are also used by other public and private entities.
Due to technical changes and innovations, these transmitters are often converted, rebuilt and dismantled by both SWR and co-users. The plans, drawings, sketches, structural calculations, etc. to be kept must be updated and kept up to date before, during and after each measure.
The aim of SWR is to conclude three framework agreements for coordination and review services in connection with conversions, constructions and dismantling for a certain number of the total of 314 transmitter sites.
