The subject matter to the future tender procedure is to conclude a framework contract for the provision of health insurance and standard and high-risk insurance to cover approximately 1 600 international staff and approximately 120 local staff implementing CFSP actions (currently 9 CSDP missions and 9 EUSRs); and 0–1 preparatory missions per year employing 5 to 15 people each, per year.
The insurance shall include risks related to medical care, accidental death and disability, evacuation and repatriation, abduction and unlawful detention, income protection, assistance, luggage and public liability.
Policy lines:
— medical care,
— accidental death and disability: death, permanent disability, permanent partial disability,
— evacuation and repatriation: transportation to an adequate medical centre (evacuation), repatriation, corpse repatriation,
— abduction and unlawful detention/kidnap,
— income protection,
— assistance, luggage and public liability.
Individual policy lines/full package: the insurance can either be taken for the full package or for 1 or more individual policy lines.
Coverage for dependant family members of the insured person must be provided. This extension will be optional for the insured and paid by the insured person. This coverage shall include the following policy lines:
— medical care,
— accidental death and disability: death, permanent disability, permanent partial disability,
— evacuation and repatriation: transportation to an adequate medical centre (evacuation), repatriation, corpse repatriation,
— abduction and unlawful detention/kidnap.
