The aim of the present procurement project is to award a contract for the delivery and installation of a comprehensive, complete and powerful WLAN infrastructure including active network components along with the necessary services to a suitable and efficient company for the clinic locations in Günzburg and Krumbach.
The district clinics Günzburg-Krumbach ("clinics") operate 2 publicly owned clinics in the Günzburg district at the Günzburg and Krumbach locations. The administrative headquarters of the clinics are in Günzburg.
The Günzburg Clinic guarantees basic care with 240 beds of care level I in the district of Günzburg. The main areas of focus include anesthesia, vascular and endovascular surgery, hematology, gastroenterology and internal oncology, cardiology and angiology, radiology, trauma and reconstructive surgery, geriatric traumatology, gynecology and obstetrics as well as visceral and minimally invasive surgery. The Günzburg Clinic also has beds for urology, ear, nose and throat medicine and orthopedics.
The Krumbach Clinic enables high-quality medical care for the population in the southern district of Günzburg. The clinic has 164 beds and specializes in anesthesia, ophthalmology, gastrology, vascular surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, ENT medicine, cardiology, orthopedics and trauma surgery, radiology and visceral surgery.
According to the current planning status, the clinics intend to introduce a new clinic information system ("HIS") at the end of the 1st quarter of 2022. The essential basis of a functional and high-performance HIS is a comprehensive, complete and high-performance WLAN infrastructure in the properties. Such a WLAN infrastructure is also required for other future-oriented applications in the course of the increasing digitization of hospitals. The subject of the tender is therefore the necessary delivery and installation services for WLAN components.
The main subjects of performance include:
- Illumination of the properties to be equipped on site in advance of delivery and implementation,
- Establishment of a WLAN infrastructure through delivery, assembly and installation of the active network components including connection to the existing cabling of the clinical IT system landscape as well as disposal of the associated materials and components,
- Complete implementation of the WLAN infrastructure in the overall system and the day-to-day work of the employees of the clinics as well
- Provision of training, service and maintenance services over a period of 36 months from the time of the defect-free acceptance of the WLAN infrastructure with regard to the software and hardware supplied.
All services are to be provided in close coordination with the client, whereby the continuation of uninterrupted hospital operations must always be ensured.
