The contract will include support and maintenance, as well as consultancy services related to the previously procured Juniper, Checkpoint and Crossbeam equipment and equivalent equipment that is procured during the contract period. The following equipment categories are included at the time of this notice:
— Juniper Infranet Controller,
— Odyssey Access Client,
— Crossbeam hardware,
— Crossbeam software,
— Check Point hardware,
— Check Point software.
In addition the contract includes an option for support and maintenance of components from Algosec.
Other related equipment components can be included if there is a need in the contract period.
Contracts will be signed with one service provider who can cover DSS' need for consultancy services, support and maintenance over a 4 year period. The assistance contract will last for 2 years from when it is signed with an option for 1 year + 1 year, so that the maximum contract length is not more than 4 years.
The support and maintenance contract will, as a starting point, follow the terms in SSA-V small point 6 and will thus not be limited in length. DSS intend to let the contract run continuously for as long as the services and the extent are within the limits that follow the tender documents and the procurement rules. After four years however, the need for a new competition will be continuously assessed based on, amongst other things, the competition situation in the market and the relationship to the limits that form the basis of this competition.
