On the basis of the Berlin Mobility Act and the existing needs at Schöneweide station, a bicycle parking garage with around 740 parking spaces is to be built on the eastern station forecourt as well as a bicycle parking facility with over 400 parking spaces on Ecksteinweg.

As a forward-looking building for sustainable mobility, the bicycle parking garage is to be designed according to the intended use and have a high architectural quality using sustainable building materials. The covered combined facility for free and secured parking spaces on Ecksteinweg is intended to pick up on the design language of the bicycle parking garage.
