Etelä-Savon Energia Oy requests a quote for chipping services in accordance with the tender document.

The subject-matter of the contract and the requirements for it are described in detail in the following annex to the invitation to tender:

Draft agreement on chipping services at the terminals of Metsä-Sairila, Jäteasema and Kivikangas.

The target of the procurement is the chipping services needed by Etelä-Savon Energia Oy.

Chipping services do not include the transport of wood chips.

Etelä-Savon Energia Oy procures the necessary chipped energy wood, which the selected Supplier will chip at the Customer's terminals with the Supplier's equipment.

In terms of volume, the amount of chipping may vary considerably over different time periods. In some period of the year, there may not be any chipping.

On the other hand, the maximum amount of chipping is:

o 100 000 i-m3 / h

o 30 000 i-m3 / kk

o 7,500 i-m3 / week

o 1,500 i-m3 / day

The supplier's equipment used for this service must be equipped with cutting blades, i.e. it must be a chopper, not a crusher.

Chipping takes place at the terminal airport by feeding from a pile of energy wood and unloading or directly into the truck's cargo compartment.

The Customer orders the chipping service by calling or e-mail from the Supplier. Chipping work must begin within 24 hours of calling or sending an email.

The supplier must be available within 24 hours on weekdays.

Waste station terminal: Kiertotaloudenkatu 20, Mikkeli

Kivikangas terminal: Pakinmaantie 31, 51900 Juva

In addition, possible other terminals in the Mikkeli area.
