Vitens production company Culemborg has a 2,000,000 m2 extraction permit 3 on an annual basis. The location supplies drinking water to the city of Culemborg and the immediate vicinity. The pure water quality of Pb. Culemborg does not meet the Vitens limit values for hardness and limescale deposition capacity (TACC90). With the realization of this project, Vitens wants to ensure that the water quality falls within the aforementioned limit values.
