Description:

The objective of this procurement process is to establish a single party framework agreement to supply/develop, implement, host, maintain and support a Teacher Registration system to replace the registration system currently being used by the Teaching Council.

The existing system has many manual touchpoints and there is a recognised need to digitise and streamline the process of registration as much as possible. A system which incorporates a feature rich, self-service portal, accessible from all device types, including mobile/tablet is required. The ultimate ambition is to have a solution in place which allows for improved service delivery to Candidates and teachers while enabling more efficient use of Teaching Council resources. This Qualification Questionnaire is issued by the Teaching Council for the purposes of:

— Obtaining sufficient information to enable the Teaching Council to evaluate the suitability of Candidates.

— Providing information to tenderers who may be interested in applying to pre-qualify and proceed to the tender stage for the provision of a Teacher Registration Replacement System & Related Services

The intention is to shortlist Candidates to be invited to participate in the Dialogue Stage. It is intended that following evaluation, 5 candidates, assuming receipt of an adequate number of responses from suitably experienced and qualified organisations, will be invited to participate in the dialogue phase of the procurement.
