Route42 is the Intergovernmental Partnership of the libraries of Geraardsbergen, Herzele, Lierde, Oosterzele, Sint-Lievens-Houtem and Zottegem. The municipality of Sint-Lievens-Houtem acts as a purchasing center for this contract.

These municipalities have authorized Sint-Lievens-Houtem to proceed with a placement procedure for the delivery of books, comics and audiovisual materials for their respective libraries.

Collection building within Route42 takes place collectively, ie in each library a few collectors place orders for all 6 libraries for the part assigned to them (eg toddler books, travel guides ...). Delivery takes place in packages packaged separately for each library, but centrally in the library of Zottegem. From there, the packages from the different suppliers are distributed to the 5 other libraries with the weekly transport of the service van of Route42 .... (see order documents)
