Lofotkraft AS invites tenderers to a competition for a contract for the development and delivery of materials for the project 132 kV Kvitfossen-Solbjørn, Seksjon: Kvitfossen-Svolvær, Svolvær — Kleppstad and Fygle — Solbjørn.

The assignment consists of the development and delivery of materials for a 132 kV power line over approx. 54 km. The power line mainly consists of creosote impregnated wooden masts with steel cross arms. The assignment also includes alterations to existing 22 kV and 66 kV lines, as well as some cable work.

The line is split into 3 sub-sections in the project:

— Svolvær — Kleppstad approx. 14.4 km long, with 90 masts, of which 3 are steel masts.

— Kvitfossen — Svolvær approx. 14.5 km long, with 101 masts.

— Fygle — Solbjørn approx. 25.5 km long, with 176 masts.
