In order to support the SCK-CEN team in the design activities as part of the preparations for the preliminary design of the Myrrha reactor, a framework agreement is being started with several partners for engineering services.

The goal is to be able to outsource specific ad hoc tasks to selected partners.

Each sub-mission will be awarded on the basis of a mini-competition and negotiations with selected partners.

This lot relates to general engineering service engagements to support and advance the preliminary design of components and systems for the Myrrha reactor primary system and systems, facilities and buildings. As such, the work requires general engineering services, including topics related to safety and / or examination of specific topics such as: finite elements structure element analysis, fracture mechanics analysis, development auxiliary cooling systems, handling system design, reactor building layout; seismic analysis; and instrumentation and control.

This lot concerns specialized engineering services missions related to the design of fast reactors, supporting and advancing the preliminary design of components and systems specific to the Myrrha primary system. As such, the work requires specialized engineering services, including topics related to safety and / or revision of fast reactor technology, for example: spent fuel storage, fuel handling, strategy development. ISI & R ", revision of the design of the primary fast reactor system, design and manufacture of fast reactor components.
