The services will cover the 6 local authorities: Wrexham and Flintshire, Denbighshire and Conwy and Gwynedd and Anglesey.

IDVAs work to address the safety of all people at high risk of domestic violence and abuse from intimate partners, ex-partners and family members to secure their safety and the safety of their children. These plans will include actions from the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) as well as sanctions and remedies available through the criminal and civil courts, housing options and services available through other organisations. Although the service will not work directly with children under the age of 16, it will make referrals to safeguard children at risk of harm and ensure appropriate signposting to specialist support services. The service will be available for all clients affected by domestic abuse, regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity or disability.
