Public service contract for local rail passenger transport within the meaning of Article 5(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23.10.2007: Oberland 2027+.

The transport services to be provided include the operation of the following lines:

Munich – Holzkirchen – Schaftlach – Lenggries

Munich – Holzkirchen – Schaftlach – Tegernsee

Munich – Holzkirchen – Schliersee – Bayrischzell

The transport services are to be provided from 13.12.2026, the first day of operation after the major timetable change in 2026, after the night break. The transport implementation contract to be concluded ends at the time of the major timetable change in 2034, on 09.12.2034. Accordingly, the duration of the obligation to provide services is 8 years from the start of operations.

The transport implementation contract will contain detailed specifications on the quality of the transport services to be provided.

For the provision of transport services, vehicles are specified by the client for use. These are 31 diesel multiple units of the type "CORADIA LINT 54", which will be used by the current operator in the Oberland network on the basis of a leasing contract. The transport company commissioned in the local procurement procedure is obliged to enter into the leasing contract and take over the vehicles.
