In order to improve the compatibility of family and career and to support employees at the Lobeda site with regard to childcare up to school age, places are therefore to be made available for UKJ employees in a day-care centre within walking distance of the UKJ.

This is intended to give employees the opportunity to join the hospital on the desired date when they are new to the hospital or after parental leave (occupancy places) and, in addition, the offer of childcare is to be offered adequately at the actual working hours (off-peak care).

In order to improve the compatibility of family and career and to support employees, a cooperation between the UK Jena and a provider of external childcare facilities in Jena is to be established.

Within the framework of this cooperation agreement, the latter provides the UK Jena with childcare places as a flexible contingent in its childcare facility. Within the framework of this quota, parents designated by the UK Jena as entitled can take advantage of childcare places for their children with the cooperation partner.
