The development and implementation of an EU-wide pollinator monitoring scheme is a key commitment under the EU Pollinators Initiative. A number of preparatory activities is necessary before such scheme can be deployed on the ground, for example addressing the taxonomic gaps. The objective of this contract is to develop taxonomic resources for identification of European bees and hoverflies with a view to support the implementation of the EU Pollinator Monitoring Scheme (EU-PoMS).
