The contract includes the expansion of Sofielund's leachate treatment plant to meet current treatment requirements.
The renovation and extension mainly includes:
Dismantling of existing dynasand filters replaced by the following process steps:
- Precipitation and flocculation steps
- Lamella sedimentation for the separation of heavy metals
-Sand filter
- Ion exchange filter for separation of PFOS, PFOA
- In addition, the following shall be installed and built:
- Sludge dewatering plant
- Reception, storage and dosing systems for PAX, LUT and polymer
- Extension for the above process about 350m2 including cast sand filters, pump sumps, sludge storage and flushing water reservoir
- Complete electrical & automation system including general electricity.
- Complete plumbing system incl. control system for property.
- Some rebuilding bef. Construction including raising of ceilings in existing filter hall and construction of new apparatus room for plumbing in existing machine hall.
