Strand Municipality, henceforth also referred as the contracting authority, is holding a tender contest for a new framework agreement for carpentry installation work with accompanying materials. The contracting authority would like to enter into a framework agreement with two tenderers, provided that there is a sufficient number of suitable tenders received. 

The contract will include municipal buildings and residences in the municipality, including schools, nurseries, residential and activity centres, nursing homes, retirement homes, swimming pools and sports centres, office buildings, municipal rental housing, health centres, etc.

The procurement will cover all types of joinery work, including:

- repairs

- maintenance

- improvements

-reconstructions

-smaller new buildings

- asbestos removal work

- wet room work 

- fireproofing/sealing own work

- engineering design work for all carpentry work included in the agreement, to the scope required by the contracting authority. 

This framework agreement will be signed with up to two tenderers that will get all assignments under NOK 200,000.

The contracting authority reserves the right to call for tenders from several providers for larger assignments, including assignments exceeding NOK 200,000, excluding VAT.

Strand Municipality will assess whether material will be part of each assignment under the framework agreement.

The assignment also includes the disposal of demolition material, and securing measures for the tenderer's personnel and the buildings' users. The list is not exhaustive. All assignments that naturally fall under the discipline are included. The list is only for information and is not binding for the Contracting Authority.
