Spotlights, cylindrical spotlights with drivers.

As part of the new internal lighting in Nidaros Cathedral, spotlights will be procured to light up the architecture in the cathedral's main room, chapels on the ground floor and in the chapter house.

Nidaros Cathedral is listed in accordance with Cultural Memorial Act, as an automatically listed cultural memorial. Due to the building's listed status, and its high cultural memorial and symbol values, interventions and visual changes in the buildings are very restricted. This gives limited fixing possibilities for lighting. In addition, there are requirements to hide as much as possible of lighting fixtures from the main room of the church. There are strict requirements regarding to size, strength and stability of fixings and execution of fixtures, as a lot of the equipment will be placed at great heights above the public.
