Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (The Council), including all maintained schools in the Borough, in partnership with Berneslai Homes (The Authority) is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of apprenticeship training programmes for a range of different workplace environments. The intention of the DPS is to support the requirements of both organisations to increase participation in workplace apprenticeships through training provision and sourcing for new recruits and the development of the existing workforce.
As this exercise is for the provision of education and training the procurement is being undertaken as light touch regime.
Providers must be registered on the YORTender e-procurement portal to apply for this Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).

Initial period of the DPS until the 31.3.2018, with 2 x 12 month extension options until 31.3.2020.
Closure of each DPS Round will be 12:00 noon on the 1st of the month. The next round will open immediately.
Please Note — all providers will be notified every time a new DPS round opens, throughout the duration of the Contract. If awarded, or have already submitted a response but not yet been notified of award to the DPS you do not need to resubmit your response.
Providers who have been awarded to the DPS will be notified, via YORTender of further competitions published for specific requirements identified by the Authority which you will then be requested to submit a response to. It is the responsibility of each provider to review each further competition in detail and submit responses where appropriate.
