The municipality of Utrecht (hereinafter: the municipality) wants to conclude one agreement for an integral design team for the preparation of a Preliminary Design (hereinafter: VO), Final Design (hereinafter: DO) and advising the municipality during the Construction Team phase or drawing up specifications and advice during the Realisation phase for the renovation of Vlampijpstraat 50.

For this assignment, the municipality is looking for a broad design team in which at least the following knowledge and skills are represented: architecture, constructions, installation technology, building physics and construction costs.

Vlampijpstraat 50 contains the Vlampijpateliers, for years one of the largest breeding grounds in the city for more than 75 (mainly autonomous) artists. At the moment, the technical quality of the object is poor. The object will have to be completely renovated and must meet the sustainability requirements ENG. The design work concerns the hull renovation and installation work.
