At the end of this year, GVB has 5 electric NZK springs 'in the ship'. After the initial warranty period, all these ships need regular maintenance (small or large) structurally, every two and a half years. The maintenance is divided into regular maintenance and failure maintenance. The regular maintenance is fully planable, and focuses on the hull technical part of the ship excluding the abovewater ship. In addition, there may be the correction of defects and malfunctions. Depending on the severity of the failure, these activities are not foreseen, urgent, and therefore not planable. Every five years, the regular maintenance is expanded with an SI inspection; an inspection in which the shipping inspectorate (IL&T shipping) carries out safety inspections for professionally used ships.
Maintaining 5 feathers from the fleet, for a contract term of up to 5 years.
