The Verden drinking water association intends to renew the Wittkoppenberg waterworks, which went into operation in 1966, due to its advanced age and changed technological processes, or to build it at a different location.

As part of the planning services to be commissioned for the new construction of the Wittkoppenberg waterworks, the general planner should perform the service phases 1-5 (optional service phase 6-9) of the engineering structures (§§ 43 and 44 HOAI, Annex 12 to the HOAI) and technical equipment (§§ 53 to 56 HOAI, Annex 15 to the HOAI) as well as the service phases 1-5 (optional service phase 6) of the service profile structural planning (§§ 49 to 52 HOAI, Annex 14 to the HOAI) are provided. As part of a variant comparison during service phase 2, the existing location (Ueserdicker Straße 6, 28832 Achim, red marking, Appendix 1) must be compared with a new location (Käthe-Kruse-Straße, 28832 Achim, blue marking, Appendix 1) and to be evaluated in terms of profitability. As part of the special services, the general planner must provide a variant comparison for a possible integration of water softening and local construction supervision during the construction phase.
