Reconstruction – Stage II – of the building of the Main Building of the Catholic University of Lublin, including adaptation to fire regulations. along with the extension of the building, reconstruction of rooms, reconstruction of installations in the entire building and revitalization of the building" (precinct 41-Wieniawa, ark. 4, plots no. 2/5 and 3/4), in accordance with the description of the subject matter of the contract constituting Appendix No. 1 to the Terms of Reference and the draft provisions of the contract constituting Appendix No. 10 to the Terms of Reference.
The subject of the contract is: Extension, reconstruction and revitalization of the Main Building of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, including: extension of the basement with technical rooms, development of a small courtyard along with the reconstruction of the terrace and construction of a glass roof, reconstruction of external stairs and hardening of the area, execution of external electrical installations, lighting of the area and construction and reconstruction of internal installations: hydrant water and sewage system, domestic hot water with circulation, chilled water, central heating, process heat, rainwater drainage, mechanical ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and telecommunication installations, including the fire alarm system (full protection), reconstruction of fire routes in order to adapt the building to the applicable fire regulations and revitalization of the building.
The Contracting Authority recommends that the Contractor carry out a site visit or check the documents not necessary for the performance of the contract, referred to in Article 131(2) of the Public Procurement Law.
The Contracting Authority provides for the possibility of awarding contracts referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the Public Procurement Act. The scope of the contract will consist in the repetition/performance of similar construction works covered by the basic contract. The contract will be awarded after conducting an appropriate public procurement procedure on the basis of a separate agreement with the Contractor. The contract will be awarded if the need arises and may cover the whole or partial scope of works included in the basic contract. Similar services, if any, will be provided in the field of construction and installation works. Within the scope of construction works, the works will include the construction of additional walls, additional standard structures and those with fire resistance up to and including REI 120, additional fire penetrations, additional suspended ceilings, painting, sanding, replacement of window and door joinery along with the delivery of doors and windows, as well as additional demolition and disassembly. In terms of installation, similar orders will concern the execution of additional installations: ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, telecommunications, water supply and sewage, additional internal basic, emergency and evacuation lighting, as well as the dismantling of additional existing installation elements.
Construction works should be carried out in accordance with the design documentation (building permit and detailed designs, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works) developed by Sound & Space Sp. z o.o. and in accordance with the decision on the building permit.
