The contract has as its object THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF CROSS BELT SORTING MACHINE referred to in the works of adaptation of the BHS departures plant for the implementation of the baggage control machines from the hold to standard 3, at the Palermo Airport "Falcone – Borsellino, as detailed in the executive project approved by ENAC (Organizational Function of Flight and Road Infrastructure Projects) with note ENAC-PROT-0069416-P of 07.06.2022.

The object of the contract concerns the supply and installation of a "cross belt" sorting machine and the related plant parts supplied with it, for the adaptation of the BHS departures system at the Falcone Borsellino Airport and is detailed in the Special Tender Specifications downloadable from the website https://portaleappalti.gesap.it together with the tender documentation.

The object of the contract includes assistance in the start-up phase of the new plant and the training of personnel who will have to use the equipment, as better detailed in the CSA in chapter 4. Charges and obligations to be borne by the contractor.

BHS adjustments are necessary to address an increase in passenger traffic.

Since these are interventions to be carried out during full airport activity and in the presence of similar operating systems, the contractor is obliged to verify, together with the Works Manager, the presence and consistency of all the plants and subservices and to verify the quotas and measures of the works to be carried out.
