Supply of a test bench for Voith transmissions. The Voith gearbox is driven by a 250 kW motor. The latter simulates the diesel engine and drives the gearbox at a speed that can vary from 0 to 1,000 rpm. At a nominal speed of 1,000 rpm, it can deliver a torque of 2,000 nm. At the output of the box, an asynchronous motor operating as an alternator makes it possible to deliver a resistive torque of up to 6,000 nm. A brake can block the output of the starter box, a torque meter allows to measure the value when stopped. During the test, after the release of the brake, the 450 kW motor takes over to ensure the resistive torque and must be able to absorb transiently and correctly the 6,000 nm torque at the exit of the box.
