The Danish Defence has a need for a small compact and light combat swimmer weapon (CSW) which can be hidden underneath a coat or similar when low conspicuousness is needed. The CSW should be a gun in the category of a personnel defence weapon (PDW) and be able to pass an OTB test. The CSW shall have a longer firing range and a higher penetration than a 9 mm hand gun. The CSW shall have a high accuracy and enough fire-power and accuracy to defeat targets up to 200 meters. Furthermore the CSW shall give the shooter the opportunity to fire semi or full automatic from the surface without draining the barrel first in a maritime environment. If the ammunition required for the specific CSW is not already used by DALO, the contract shall encompass relevant ammunition in a limited interim period.
