The City of Tornio and the Sea Lapland Public Transport Authority are requesting tenders for public transport services in the Tornio area.

You can procure Tornio city transport (Part 1) and four public transport services in sparsely populated areas on school days

(Part 2, public transport services from/to Tornio) operating under a contract based on gross compensation.

The contract is divided into two parts, which can be joined together.

The contract period is planned to be from 7.8.2023 to 1.8.2028 plus one (1) two (2) year option option.

The Customer shall notify of the exercise of the option at least six (6) months before the end of the contract period.

The operator undertakes to operate the traffic in accordance with the routes and timetables confirmed by the Client as follows:

stated in the invitation to tender and in the contract. Special attention should be paid to customer service and other quality of service.

The procurement will be carried out according to an accelerated procedure and schedule in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts.

The regional municipal public transport authority of Sea Lapland will put Tornio's urban transport services out to tender with contracts based on gross compensation.

The planned contract period is 7.8.2023 - 1.8.2028 plus one (1) option option of two (2) years. The Act on Environmental and Energy Efficiency Requirements for Vehicle and Transport Service Procurements (740/2021), which entered into force on 2.8.2021, is applied in procurement.
