Unexploded Explosive Ordnance (UXO) marine geophysical survey, identification and disposal at the platform location BorWin gamma in the German sector of the North Sea.
— Geophysical surv. to identify potential UXO obj. within the prescribed area that will cover the footprint of the platform, the working area around and anchor areas for the installation spread. Contractor will host a ‘route working group meeting’, which aims at the setup of the identific. and disposal program on site of pot. UXO objects that cannot be avoided. A clearance certific. for areas free of objects has to be issued.
— Positive identific. of the pot. UXO obj. resulting from the ‘route working group meeting’ at the platform site.
— If required, disposal to shore of any actual UXO obj. if safe to transport or detonation on site if unsafe to do so. If requ., disposal to shore of any actual non-UXO objects that might hinder any install. works. Issurance of final target clearance certificate(s) for all obj. inspected and removed.
All work stages have to accompanied by at least one qualified EOD supervisor certified according section 20 German Explosive Law (SprengG) per working shift.
