The Province of Namur wishes to set up a biomethanation unit on the territory of the city of Ciney, in order to supply energy to the Provincial School of Agronomy and Sciences of Ciney (abbreviated "EPASC").
To do this, the Province is seeking a partner for the design, development, financing, construction and operation of the unit.
The project will be located on provincially owned land adjacent to EPASC.
The Province wants this unit to be perfectly integrated into the local landscape, so particular attention will be paid to the origin of inputs and the local valorization of digestate. On this point, the province being the owner of EPASC, it can facilitate exchanges with the latter for the supply of inputs and the recovery of digestate.
