Skive Vand is a water utility company in Skive municipality.

Skive Vand wants to establish new remotely read water meters to replace the 14,383 water meters currently located in the supply area.

The project includes delivery and installation of 14,377 remotely read water meters at Skive Vand's customers, including customer booking and service, as well as delivery of 6 major remotely read water meters, which are installed by Skive Vand.

It should be emphasized that the stated number of meters is not precise, and can be expected to vary, based on, among other things, new construction, during the expansion period.

The project also includes automatic data retrieval from the new remotely read water meters to a central retrieval system, via a network solution established, owned and operated by the tenderer over a 15-year period.

In addition to the supply of water meters and the physical replacement / establishment of water meters for Skive Vand by the individual customer, including booking and servicing of consumers, a network solution for automatic retrieval of meter data must be established.

The establishment of the complete network solution, including any amplifiers, antennas, masts, etc. and/or the use of existing networks, is covered by this tender and must be carried out/offered by the tenderer (hereinafter referred to as the Turnkey Supplier) or its subcontractor. It should be emphasized that the network is established, owned and operated by the turnkey supplier or its subcontractor, and that Skive Vand thus has neither investment nor operation and maintenance to do with the network.

A solution is desired where the total supplier is responsible for delivering a total solution for automatic retrieval of meter data from water meters to a centrally located retrieval system, hosted by the total supplier. The choice of solution is up to the total supplier, but the solution must ensure a daily performance of hourly values of at least 97.0%.

The total supplier can offer to take home meter data via a solution with an independent network owned by the total supplier. Or the turnkey supplier can enter into a subcontracting agreement with a third party for the use of a new or existing network.

The overall task includes

- delivery and installation of 14,377 remotely read and fully electronic water meters, including customer booking and service as well as on-call services

- Delivery of 6 large remotely read and fully electronic water meters

- installation, setup and commissioning of complete repatriation system - hosted by the total supplier

- automatic data retrieval from water meters to the retrieval system via networks owned by the total supplier or third party subcontractor to the total supplier

- automatic integration to Skive Vand's billing system

- 15-year operating and hosting agreement for repatriation system

- 15-year data take-home agreement

- training of Skive Vand's water meter fitters and users of the repatriation system

- complete documentation of the overall task;

Readings via drive-by cannot be included for the remotely read water meters. Data retrieval

must therefore take place automatically at least once a day with hourly values.
