Supply and installation of electricity accumulating battery systems (BESS) equipment
Synchronisation of the Baltic States with continental Europe is an electricity transmission system development project, within the framework of which electricity storage battery systems (hereinafter – BESS) will be installed in the Latvian electricity transmission network. To ensure all balancing power reserves, it is necessary to install energy storage batteries with a total capacity of 80 MW (160 MWh). BESS will be installed in two locations in the territory of Latvia: substations "Rēzekne"(60 MW) and "Tume" (20MW).
