Demolition work on old buildings and indoor swimming pool, Gesamtschule Schlitzerland, 36110 Schlitz
Four buildings of a school are to be demolished. The main building, the extension and the indoor swimming pool were built between 1967 and 1972 in solid construction (reinforced concrete and masonry). The canteen was built in 2006 in solid construction. The main building, the extension and the canteen are structurally connected. The indoor swimming pool stands apart and is structurally connected to a gymnasium, which will not be dismantled.
The roof of the canteen is an aluminium standing seam roof and the roofs of the main building, the extension and the indoor swimming pool are made of bitumen sheets with cork and foam insulation.
Before demolition, it is necessary to remove interior fittings. These include floor coverings, suspended ceilings and installed furnishings. In addition, there is spear waste, oil tanks in the boiler room, ventilation equipment
and the water treatment of the swimming pool.
The indoor pool consists of two floors with a gross floor area of 1,147 m² and one of BRI 5,508 m³. the swimming pool exists. The single-storey canteen has a gross floor area of 208 m² and a BRI of 777 m³.
The main building and the extension consist of a basement, ground floor and first floor. The gross floor area of both buildings together is 6,942 m² and the BRI is 23,616 m³.
The demolition is to take place within three months (01.08.2023 to 01.11.2023).
