Business process optimization for a municipal urban development company with consideration of digitization potentials
As a 100% subsidiary of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is a project-based organization active in urban development. Company and job description under www.hafencity.com.
In order to further develop the existing structures, processes, procedures and cooperation within HafenCity Hamburg GmbH, a consultant is being sought for the analysis, design, implementation and controlling of optimized business processes with consideration of digitization potential.
The consulting should take place company-wide and treat value-added processes and business processes in full.
The bidder's project team should have the appropriate expertise from extensive consulting experience in the public sector.
On the basis of extensive experience in the practice-oriented application of the handbook for organizational investigations and personnel requirements determination of the BMI and beyond own solutions, a business process optimization according to the universal process model of an organizational project, e.g. according to DIN Technical Report 158, is to be carried out for the areas jointly identified with the client after the business process analysis.
SUBJECT MATTER AND SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
The main goal is to record the business processes company-wide in the current state, to question them, to optimize them in the best possible way (e.g. increase efficiency), to identify process gaps and to design the target processes aligned with the new organizational structure according to so-called best practices. Taking into account the optimal degree of digitization, the process design is derived from higher-level target images and forms the basis for the further conception or implementation phase. A differentiated management model must also be set up for the Group.
Other goals are:
• Development of company-wide data management (e.g. strategy data storage, introduction of data governance, etc.)
• Establishment of a company-wide process management in the corporate environment/context
• Consolidation of the IT application landscape in the corporate environment
• Strategic realignment of corporate processes and the associated organizational structure and processes
• Suggestions for the digitization of processes with consideration of optimization approaches including a schedule
• Development of a reporting system
• The project management approach for the task should be presented (e.g. according to DIN 69901ff or IMPA/GPM)
