StudyMaster is a web application of the Institute for Diabetes Research (IDF), Helmholtz Zentrum München, for the administration and implementation of the studies and the study participants (hereinafter also referred to as subjects) of the IDF. On the one hand, it is about recording medical data, blood values and medical history from so-called rounds and, on the other hand, about querying medical data from the studies in questionnaires and telephone calls. StudyMaster also replaces the IDF's older study management software (KBR, based on a PostgreSQL DB). Extensive information on the IDF's studies can be found here:

In addition, StudyMaster will be the central study management system for a European registry for patients with an early stage of type 1 diabetes. Study centers from several European countries will work with StudyMaster. The implementation of all functionalities required for this has the highest priority during the project phase.
