2M-IT Oy establishes a dynamic procurement system to obtain ready-made software licenses and other related services, as well as related professional services.
Licenses and services to be obtained and related professional services may be compatible with existing customer information systems, or the licenses and services to be obtained may be the purpose of existing solutions or substitution of technology environments either partially or completely.
The object of the acquisition and the related requirements are more accurately defined in each solicitation for a procurement within a dynamic procurement system.
2M-IT Oy (“2M-IT”) acts as an in-house company for its owner-customers for the overall service related to customer and patient systems that it provides as a service provider and service integrator.
The service consists of several types of service components produced by 2M-IT itself or competes from its subcontractors to be part of this overall service. Sector components of the service include information system vendor licenses and professional services; information technology services covering, for example, communications and related services, and data center and capacity services. In addition, components include various development projects and testing, as well as maintenance support services, consisting of first-level support provided by 2M-IT service desk, as well as possible second-level application support. System vendors produce the proportion of application support required for this whole of maintenance support services.
The service provided by 2M-IT Oy to its customers consists of reconciling existing solutions and new solutions and formulating them into a unified system set, producing the aforementioned service components and materially related to the whole professional services or entirely new customer and medical records systems services.
2M-IT's mission as an in-house company is to develop the service it provides to its owner-customers. During the period of validity of the Dynamic Procurement Scheme (“DPS”), the objective is to create more regionally integrated overall services that allow for social care to implement a social care customer information system that can handle customer data from more municipalities and which responds to operational development requirements as required by social and health care reform.
The objective unified system allows for an up-to-date social welfare snapshot at national, provincial and individual levels, thus facilitating the allocation of limited resources. The unity of the information system also supports scientific research work. In addition, a unified customer information system can be used to make work more efficient and smooth by bringing together data generated by social care.
Based on acquisitions within this DPS, 2M-IT can acquire customer information systems licenses and other related services (e.g. deployment projects and services produced during development), as well as professional services, including basic information technology and entities related to telecommunications. Procurement within this DPS will enable the necessary subcontractor competition to assemble the various regional services entities. Geographic regions, 2M-IT customers and other necessary elements will be further identified in procurement within the DPS.
Acquisition within the DPS may be subject to licenses and/or services and/or professional services relating to the social care customer information system, or entities consisting of licences, services and professional services.
